“The last few months have been hectic to say the least! Having a shop
space has meant that I get to meet more and more people everyday and
can finally show off my designs to some fresh eyes. Having a window
display is also really fun – it’s like dressing up my own little
colourful, vibrant, whimsical world. I’m thinking of having a winter
themed display for the coming months.
I hope everyone caught my exhibition Blossoms Bloom at the Perc Tucker
Regional Gallery. Thank you so much to the staff at the gallery for
assisting me. Filling the space with oversized and elegant flowers was
so much fun and I am definitely proud of the finished product. I’ll
have to produce an even bigger and better exhibition in the near
future!
Don’t forget that I’ll be starting my workshops again this year. I’ve
just returned from Mackay where I had so much fun running a few
workshops. If you want to learn to felt then just come along to one of
the workshops and prepare to work up a sweat. These classes are
intense! The new series of workshops will be run at my shop at 345
Flinders Mall Townsville on March 26, April 3 and April 9. So pick a

Very excited to hear about what you do from a govt-run workshop about Arts Business given by Andrew Gaynor. I am a textile artist currently investigating plant dyeing on mainly silk. I live in southeast NSW but also in Cairns for some of the year and always go to Townsville. Great to hear you have a shop and will be sure to visit. Would like to create fabrics for someone else to use. Are you interested?
